Chief Development Officer
Leslie Flinn joined the IINE Leadership Team in 2020. She leads IINE’s efforts to expand private fundraising from individuals and institutions, and oversees the organization’s long-term strategy to realign funding to be less dependent on public dollars. Having spent most of her career focused on issues of social justice and equity, she brings a wealth of experience to her new role, including 25 years of fundraising from the public and private sectors, and developing and leading programs in the US and 35 other countries. Most recently, she served as Senior Director and Head of Strategic Partnerships for Partners in Health. Previously, Leslie was Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships and Innovation for Save the Children.
Leslie had a long career in the private sector, which included leadership roles at Cardno Emerging Markets, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Shorebank Corporation in Chicago. She began her fundraising career as the Membership and Development Coordinator at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston.
Leslie lives in Concord, MA with her son and their dog. She has degrees from Colgate University and Georgetown University, where she received her M.B.A. in International Management.
