About the Event

Hosted by the NH Center for Nonprofits, NH Gives is the state’s largest day-of-giving – bringing together hundreds of nonprofits and tens of thousands of donors to raise as much money and awareness as possible for the causes served by NH’s nonprofit sector.

It is 24-hours for Granite Staters to give back to the nonprofits that give so much to our communities every day.

Our Story

The International Institute of New England (IINE) is a frontline community responder to humanitarian crises throughout the world. IINE-Manchester has more than 30 years of experience delivering key community services focused on welcoming and economic and social integration. These services include refugee resettlement, English classes, job placement, healthcare vocational training, financial literacy, vocational training, and legal services.

IINE-Manchester has welcomed and resettled more than 2,700 refugees since 2006, and in our 2021 fiscal year served 625 refugees and immigrants from more than 40 countries. Over the last five years, IINE Manchester has also provided vocationally-focused English instruction to more than 450 refugees and immigrants, and helped more than 300 individuals secure employment or job upgrades. We continue to evolve our programs to help refugees and immigrants transcend barriers and develop 21st century skills to foster their economic independence.

Since October 2021, IINE-Manchester has welcomed 81 Afghan evacuees fleeing their homeland due to the risk of persecution and retaliation from the Taliban—three times the number of total refugees resettled in FY2021—and is projected to resettle more than 80 additional refugees from other conflict zones worldwide over the coming year.

Refugees need case management, direct financial support, cultural orientation, English language training, legal immigration services, and much more. Your support makes a direct impact on the lives of refugees as they become our neighbors, colleagues, and friends.
