Transformational Impact

The Golden Door Society

The Golden Door Society is a distinguished group of past Golden Door Award honorees who have made remarkable contributions to IINE and our communities over the years.

About The Golden Door Society

The Golden Door Society was established in 2024, as the International Institute of New England marked 100 years of welcoming and supporting refugees and immigrants in Boston.

The Golden Door Society brings together a community of accomplished individuals who share a commitment to supporting and advancing IINE’s mission of empowering refugees and immigrants.

All Golden Door honorees are invited to be part of the Golden Door Society. Individually and collectively, the group serves as an advisory board in the selection of future honorees. In addition, members can participate in roundtable discussions on important immigration issues, and may, if they choose, leverage their networks for future Golden Door Award Galas. Society members will be invited to give guidance to IINE’s work as it responds to the needs of immigrants around the region.

Participation is voluntary, and IINE leadership understands the many demands on the schedules and time of our past honorees.
