Lowell Youth Mentoring Program
For Youth:
- Calling all refugee youth: join our new Youth Mentoring Program!
- We meet one afternoon/evening per week
- You will be matched with an individual Volunteer Mentor who can help you meet your goals
- Mentors can help you learn English, complete your homework, find a great job, plan your career, or advance your education
- Field trips and guest speakers, special workshops and other “perks” included!
- Learn about topics of your choice to plan your future
- Build friendships across cultures and make connections in the City of Lowell
For Volunteer Mentors:
- The International Institute of New England – Lowell is looking for volunteers to mentor refugee youth from ages 15 – 22.
- Do you want to make a difference in a young person’s life as they transition to life in the U.S.?
- Can you commit to one evening per week (2 hours) for a minimum of 6 months?
- We are looking for responsible adults (21 years and older); background check required
- Training and ongoing support will be provided!
