Molly Short Carr joins the International Institute from the International Rescue Committee (IRC) in Missoula, Montana where she was the Executive Director responsible for opening Montana’s only refugee resettlement office. Prior to working with IRC, Molly was the Deputy Director for Administration for the Refugee Support Center (RSC) Africa, operated by CWS Africa. The RSC is responsible for overseeing the administration of the US Refugee Admissions Program for sub-Saharan Africa.
Originally from Buffalo, Molly served as the Executive Director for Journey’s End Refugee Services in Buffalo, New York and was the Field Office Director for USCRI Albany. Molly has her master's degree in Organizational Leadership and is currently completing her PhD at Niagara University.
