Premier déjeuner annuel du Fonds WILLOW

The International Institute of New England’s annual event for International Women’s Day has undergone a meaningful transition. As we celebrate the centennial of our Boston office, we are reminded of the enduring legacy of our founders: a group of women at the local YWCA who were committed to welcoming, supporting, and celebrating the cultures of immigrant women and girls. Today, we honor their passion and vision through the creation of the WILLOW Fund (The Women’s Initiative for Learning, Liberation, Opportunity and Wellbeing).

Détails de l'événement

Our first WILLOW Fund Annual Luncheon highlighted refugee and immigrant women’s resilience and amplified their voices within the community. By combining both celebration and tangible support through the Fund, the International Institute of New England’s WILLOW Fund Annual Luncheon creates a holistic approach to advocating for and uplifting immigrant women. 100 years of history have shown us that by investing in refugee and immigrant women and girls, we invest in our communities, our society, our economy, and our future.
