Maggie Nazarenus

Maggie thrives on mastering the details, improving efficiencies, and building community. She loves helping her team excel (and also Microsoft Excel).
Maggie came to IINE with a background in grant and contract management which includes work for FEMA, USAID, and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She also worked on a US-government funded engineering program in Kabul, Afghanistan, where she found inspiration and gratitude in the warm welcome she received from Afghan colleagues under pressure. Her role at IINE gives her an opportunity to pay this forward by working to welcome refugees and immigrants to Massachusetts.
Maggie is originally from Colorado where she developed a love of the outdoors—specifically hiking with her dog Porter. He’s blind but he doesn’t let that slow him down. Maggie also enjoys gathering with her book club that has being going strong since 2018.
