Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) play a crucial role in supporting registered nurses and doctors by providing essential day-to-day care to patients, helping to monitor their condition, and ensuring a comfortable and clean environment.
CNA Program – Lowell
Note – Students must have U.S. Work Authorization in order to apply, and must pass a basic English language screening to enroll in the class.
Offered in Lowell, MA, our CNA Program (“CNA Success!”) is a specialized, 200-hour course designed especially for English language learners seeking a career in the healthcare field. Students learn how to provide basic care for patients in healthcare settings such as hospitals, nursing homes, and long-term care facilities.
The program is free for qualified students and funded by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary & Secondary Education.
About the Program
- 100 hours of class (online and on site). Topics include English for employment in healthcare, skills development, and job readiness preparation.
- 100 hours of clinical training — a Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) module conducted by instructors from Middlesex Community College.
- Includes preparation for CNA licensing exam.
