Marked each year on June 20, World Refugee Day (WRD) is an international observance honoring the strength, courage, and cultural contributions of those who have been forced to flee their home countries to escape conflict and persecution.
For IINE, World Refugee Day is an opportunity to recognize the achievements of the refugees we serve and thank those who support them. Throughout the week, our community comes together at our three sites to celebrate our clients’ successes, hear their stories, and honor our community partners, who make our work helping refugees possible.
