Tali Friedman
Chief Operating Officer

Tali Friedman serves as IINE’s chief operating officer and is responsible for the design and implementation of effective and efficient business operations throughout the institute. Tali leads IINE’s organizational planning, systems workflow strategy, and the execution of inter-departmental projects, and oversees the team that supports logistical operations at all three IINE sites. Prior to her current role, Tali served as IINE’s manager of executive operations.

An immigrant herself, Tali was born in Tel Aviv, Israel and spent her formative years in Berkeley, CA. She returned to Israel to serve in the Israeli Defense Forces as an instructor in the Israeli Air Force. After earning her B. Arch (magna cum laude) from Bezalel Academy in Jerusalem, Tali spent over a decade working as a licensed architect, leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing projects from initial conception and design through detailed execution and completion. She went on to earn a Master’s degree in the History and Philosophy of Science (summa cum laude) from the Cohn Institute at Tel Aviv University. At the university, she spearheaded the establishment of logistic operational procedures for the newly founded Minerva Humanities Center for academic research.

Before moving to Massachusetts, Tali spent three years living with her family in Santiago de Chile. She speaks three languages and lives in Brookline with her husband and three children.
