The WILLOW Fund Breakfast Panel Event

Join IINE for an inspiring, educational panel event to raise critical funds to support the health, safety, and employment of refugee women

June 10, 2026 | WBUR CitySpace

About The WILLOW Fund

In 2024, the International Institute of New England’s annual event for International Women’s Day underwent a meaningful transition. Instead of hosting a one-day celebration, we chose to create The WILLOW Fund to have a more tangible, lasting impact. WILLOW stands for The Women’s Initiative for Learning, Liberation, Opportunity, and Wellbeing.

Women and girls make up 50% of the refugee population, yet they often have the greatest challenges resettling because their unique needs go overlooked and their potential unrealized. As they watch their children and spouses acclimate through school and work, they may become isolated, lonely, and disempowered. The IINE WILLOW Fund makes targeted programming possible to help women and girls achieve wellness, safety, and employment.
