IINE Statement on Russian Invasion of Ukraine
February 26, 2022
At IINE, we have watched the Russian invasion of Ukraine in horror. Our work and our mission is in direct opposition to unjust acts of aggression that destroy democracy and human lives around the world. Russia’s invasion has already spawned a refugee crisis that will worsen as innocent Ukrainians continue to flee the country for their lives. We stand beside the 20,000 Ukrainian refugees welcomed in the US over the last decade alone—many to Massachusetts and New Hampshire and supported by IINE—and stand in solidarity with our Ukrainian community. If called upon, we are ready to provide welcome, refuge, and humanitarian support to those affected by this war.
